Who we are

MedsFound is a service operated by SimplifiiSolutions Limited. When this policy says "we", "us" or "MedsFound", that is who we mean. If you ever want to reach us about your privacy, our details are at the bottom of this page.

What this policy covers

This policy covers the MedsFound mobile app for patients, the pharmacy portal that pharmacies use, and this website. By using any of them you agree to the handling of information described here.

The information we collect

We try to collect as little as possible. In practice that means:

• The medication you search for. When you send a request, we need to know what you are looking for so nearby pharmacies can tell you if they have it.
• Your approximate location. We use your location to work out which pharmacies are close enough to help. You control this through your device settings, and you can turn it off at any time.
• Basic account information. If you create an account, we store what is needed to sign you in. Pharmacies provide their business name and contact details when they join the network.
• Request activity. We keep a record of requests and responses so the service works, so a pharmacy can see who to expect, and so we can keep things running smoothly.
• Device information for notifications. If you allow notifications, we store a token from your device so we can tell you when a pharmacy has responded.
• Contact details, if you choose to give them. If you use the request form on our website and add an email address or mobile number, we use it only to update you about that request. It is kept separately from your request, pharmacies cannot see it, and we delete it once the request is finished.

What we do not collect

We think this part matters just as much.

• We do not ask for your insurance details.
• We do not ask you to upload a prescription.
• We do not build advertising profiles about you.
• We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

How we use your information

We use the information above to do the job you came for and nothing more: to match your request with pharmacies near you, to let those pharmacies respond, to notify you of the result, and to keep the service secure and working. We may also use information in an anonymous and aggregated form to understand how the service is being used and to improve it.

Who can see your request

When you send a request, only pharmacies within range of your location can see it. A pharmacy sees the medication you are looking for and enough information to help you collect it. Your request is not broadcast publicly and it is not shown to pharmacies outside your area.

How your information is stored

MedsFound runs on Google Firebase, a cloud platform operated by Google. Your information is stored on secure Google servers and protected by access rules so that only the right people and services can reach it. We take reasonable steps to protect your information, although no online service can promise perfect security.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as you use MedsFound and for a reasonable period afterwards so the service works and so we can meet our legal and operational needs. When information is no longer needed, we remove it or make it anonymous.

Your choices and rights

You are in control of your information. You can turn off location access in your device settings, turn off notifications, and ask us to delete your account and the data tied to it. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to object to certain uses. To make any of these requests, just contact us using the details below.

Children

MedsFound is intended for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. If the change is significant, we will do our best to tell you clearly.
